SIFA Fireside Opens Doors for Social Value

Demonstrating corporate and social responsibility shouldn’t be a tick-box exercise and SIFA Fireside are opening their doors to individuals and organisations who want to support people experiencing homelessness whilst also demonstrating that they are socially invested. And you’re invited.

The Social Value @ SIFA Fireside event will provide an opportunity for individuals and organisations to explore impactful social value opportunities through the charity, and the chance to pledge to deliver transformational action for both SIFA Fireside and for your business.

Alongside finding out more about the vital work of SIFA Fireside and how you and your organisation can have an impact, the event will feature networking opportunities, light refreshments and an appearance by Rokneddin Shariat, Procurement Strategy Manager at Birmingham City Council, who will be saying a few words on procurement and social value.

Robb Sheppard, Communications Manager at SIFA Fireside said; “Although we’re always looking for financial contributions to support people experiencing homelessness, the offer of pro-bono support or the lending of specialist skills is of absolute importance to us as we stand by vulnerable people on their journey out of homelessness.”

The event takes place on Wednesday 28 of May at SIFA Fireside’s Digbeth Support Centre, from 2.30pm until 4pm. Please RSVP via communications@sifafireside.co.uk by May 14.
