Bryt Energy have achieved their Virtual Trading Party (VTP) accreditation, expanding their flexibility optimisation capabilities. This achievement allows them to offer their electricity flexibility optimisation product to even more organisations, independently of an organisation’s electricity supply contract. As Bryt Energy also reaches the milestone of 10 years in operation, their VTP accreditation demonstrates their evolving role within the changing energy landscape, in which flexibility optimisation is now crucial in supporting a sustainable energy system.
Virtual Trading Parties (VTPs) are certified participants in the wholesale electricity market, able to aggregate assets (combining multiple flexibility resources into one portfolio) and trade on behalf of other parties. Achieving their VTP accreditation allows Bryt Energy to offer flexibility optimisation to not only their own electricity supply customers, but also those with supply agreements elsewhere – offering a wider array of Industrial and Commercial (I&C) businesses access to the financial opportunities available.
