Positively Birmingham Announces Black Sabbath Walking Tour

A unique walking tour is being run on Saturday 5 July, the morning of the Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning reunion concert at Villa Park and day two of Colmore Food Festival.

The tour visits iconic locations in the Black Sabbath story, including:

  • The brand-new Black Sabbath street art mural on Navigation Street
  • The Crown pub, where Sabbath played their earliest gigs and where Henry’s Blueshouse helped shape the city’s live music scene
  • Ozzy the Bull at Grand Central and the Black Sabbath bench on Broad Street — perfect for selfies

Alongside Sabbath heritage, the tour takes in Birmingham’s modern transformation and giving fans a glimpse of the vibrant 21st-century city Sabbath helped put on the map.

Jonathan Berg, who leads Positively Birmingham Walking Tours, said:

“We feature Black Sabbath every week on our tours, but this one will be special. With the original lineup performing together one last time, it’s a perfect moment to celebrate their Birmingham roots.”

Tickets are on sale now at: www.positivelybirmingham.co.uk.  A copy of the new guide to the city Discovering Birmingham will be gifted to participants at tour end.
