Private client specialist returns to mfg Solicitors

Law firm mfg Solicitors has strengthened its Private Client department with the appointment of new partner, Tracy Ashby.

A highly regarded specialist in inheritance tax and estate administration, Tracy previously

worked at the firm between 2006 and 2017, before moving on to work at several other large regional firms where she held senior roles leading Private Client teams, most recently at FBC Manby Bowdler.

Based at the firm’s Birmingham office in the city’s Colmore Business District, Tracy will once again work closely with head of department, Valerie Robinson, supporting and advising clients on a range of complex private matters.

Valerie Robinson, partner and head of the Private Client department at mfg Solicitors said: “Tracy is a sought-after solicitor who has earned the trust of hundreds of clients over many years.

“It’s a huge plus to welcome her back to the firm after almost a decade away. She is already making a significant impact, both internally and with our clients. She is also part of our growing Birmingham office, which continues to go from strength to strength and will only get stronger with someone of Tracy’s calibre in the team.”

Tracy Ashby added: “I was delighted to have the opportunity to return to mfg Solicitors. I rejoin a firm that has grown considerably over the past nine years but still maintains its core values by putting its clients at the centre of everything it does.

“Having worked in the Birmingham area for the last few years, the move felt like the right fit at the right time. The firm has evolved significantly and it’s exciting to be part of that continued growth.

“Valerie and I work extremely well together, and alongside the wider team of partners and specialists, we are set up perfectly for the future to deliver the highest possible service to clients across the region.”

The firm’s Private Client team are based across the firm’s offices in Birmingham, Worcestershire, Shropshire, and in the Black Country.
