Jamaica 0121 Festival returns to Victoria Square this weekend, celebrating the anniversary of Jamaican Independence with a vibrant, free outdoor cultural event.
This year, the festival is proudly hosted by Noir Rose Group, supported Birmingham City Council, and will take place in Victoria Square from Friday, 9 August to Sunday, 11 August 2024.

The Jamaica 0121 Festival is designed to be a family-friendly event, attracting a diverse audience from across the community. It will feature a rich array of cultural activities, entertainment, food, and arts, all aimed at celebrating the essence of Jamaican culture and fostering community engagement.
Operational Impact:
The Festival team is committed to ensuring minimal disruption to the daily activities of the city. There will be no road closures or interruptions to deliveries.
A dedicated security team from SNSG will be on-site to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the event. Additionally, the organisers have partnered with Squeezy Clean waste management services to maintain the cleanliness of Victoria Square, as they do for the German market and other city events, ensuring it remains in excellent condition throughout the festival.
