RBSA on Tour Brings Contemporary Art to Three Snowhill

Art lovers in Birmingham’s Colmore Business District have a new cultural gem to explore, as the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) brings its On Tour exhibition to Three Snowhill. Running Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, the exhibition features a selection of works originally showcased in the RBSA Annual Exhibition 2024, highlighting the exceptional talent of the Society’s diverse membership.

The RBSA On Tour initiative is designed to introduce the Society’s work to new audiences across the West Midlands. The first stop was Bewdley Museum’s Wyre Forest Gallery, and now, Three Snowhill plays host to a stunning display of contemporary art, all available for purchase. Visitors can enter via the Queensway entrance opposite St Chad’s Cathedral to enjoy the exhibition which is running until Friday 14 March.

A special ‘Meet the Artist’ event will take place on Friday, 7 February, from 14:00 to 16:00, where attendees can engage directly with exhibiting artists and gain deeper insight into their work.

Philip Singleton, Consultant at Colmore Business District and an artist featured in the exhibition, shared his enthusiasm for the showcase: ‘It is a happy moment when my work with Colmore BID and my associate membership of the RBSA come together. I do believe that every opportunity should be taken to take art out into new spaces. I am of course thrilled that one of my pieces is included in this show.’

For those wanting to explore more, the RBSA Gallery, located just a ten-minute walk away in the Jewellery Quarter, hosts a rolling programme of over 20 exhibitions per year, featuring everything from photography and portraiture to printmaking and drawing. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30 to 17:00, the Gallery offers free admission and a welcoming environment for art enthusiasts.
