Natter follows the trials and tribulations of two ‘old women’, Helen and Linda, who spend their time grappling with useless husbands, a homosexual son and, far more importantly, what’s on telly!

(Please note – Helen & Linda may, or may not, be played by two gay men in terrible dresses)

Natter is set in1980s Manchester, where our two matriarchs sit drinking tea and discussing everything -from the politics of the day to the love lives of their children –  via Linda’s kitchen table we hear all about the bizarre collection of neighbours and acquaintances that punctuate their lives.
