Swirl into Colmore Wine Showcase, a Brummie celebration of all things wine! Whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned enthusiast, this is your chance to explore, taste, and discover the best that Birmingham has to offer in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

We’ve brought together some of the city’s most exciting wine and hospitality talents – including Loki, Arch 13, Vagabond, and Hotel du Vin – alongside the city’s first urban winemaker Midlands Press and expert sommeliers, for an afternoon of tasting, learning, and fun. Taking place at The Grand Hotel, with views over Cathedral Square, it’s the perfect setting to explore and enjoy your wines.

We’re here to make wine fun, accessible, and a little less serious. Come for a sip, stay to discover something new (and maybe your next go-to bottle). Expect relaxed vibes, friendly faces, and a space where everyone’s welcome to explore the world of wine.

Each attendee receives 6 tasting tokens to use on selected wines (roughly 6 × 50 ml samples or 3 × 50 ml premium wines) and delicious light antipasti to nibble between sips. Keep an eye out for talks, interactive activities, and surprise tastings that will spark your curiosity and tickle your taste buds – details coming soon!
