A Taste of Growing Up: Six by Nico’s New Childhood Menu Celebrates Britain’s Favourite Food Memories

New six-course tasting experience celebrates the flavours, memories and iconic dishes that defined growing up.

Six by Nico is taking guests on a delicious trip down memory lane this summer with the launch of its latest six-course tasting menu, Childhood, available from this week until 12 July 2026 across its UK and Ireland restaurants. Inspired by the flavours, memories and iconic foods that defined growing up, the new menu reimagines beloved childhood favourites through Six by Nico’s signature creative and contemporary culinary style.

Drawing inspiration from school dinners, family suppers and after-school treats, the menu revisits some of youth’s most recognisable flavours through a distinctly modern lens. Rather than simply recreating classic dishes, Six by Nico has reimagined them using elevated techniques, seasonal ingredients and the theatrical presentation for which they are known.

Guests begin their journey with playful references to lunchtime favourites and corner-shop indulgences before moving through courses inspired by comforting family meals and beloved British classics. Rich tomato flavours, nostalgic savoury snacks, traditional meat-and-potato suppers and sweet bakery-inspired desserts all feature throughout the experience, each presented with the creativity and attention to detail expected from one of the UK’s most successful restaurant groups.

The menu evokes memories of freezer-aisle treats, jam-filled confections and hearty family dinners, yet every course demonstrates a sophisticated understanding of flavour, texture and balance. It is a celebration not only of childhood foods themselves, but of the emotional connection many diners have with them.

Guests can enjoy the six-course tasting menu from £39 per person, with pricing varying by location. London and Oxford locations are typically priced at £55 per person, while Dublin pricing begins from €55. Optional wine and cocktail pairings are available to enhance the experience.
