Aon’s work experience programme reaches milestone in the Midlands 

Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, has welcomed 35 Year 12 and 13 students from Birmingham and the surrounding area to its award-winning Work Insights Programme. It takes the total number of participants in the Midlands to over 230 since the initiative was launched in 2023.

Now in its fourth year, the programme was established to help improve access to careers in financial and professional services for young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds. 

During the three-day programme, students gained first-hand experience of working in a professional services environment, meeting Aon employees and taking part in a series of workplace challenges designed to develop their understanding of the sector and the career opportunities available.
