Forgotten India at 80: Museum Takeover

Join Believe in Me CIC for a special three-day museum takeover celebrating the stories and themes behind their new project, Forgotten India at 80: The Stories You Don’t Know. Through free drop-in activities, music, and crafts , discover stories of South Asian contributions during the First and Second World Wars. Taking place across the weekend, there will be lots of fun things to do, from creative activities and a chance to meet the exhibition’s curator to music and instrument-handling sessions. Friday Crafternoons   12pm – 4pm National Literacy Trust 12pm – 2pm Meet the Curator 1pm – 1.30pm   Saturday Sounds of India 11am-11:45am Listening Session with Dipps Bhamrah 12:30pm – 1:45pm Listening Session with DJ Manara 3pm – 4:15pm Sunday Marvellous Makers   11am – 3pm Meet the Curator 11:30am – 12pm Meet Professor Black 12pm-2pm   Event Information All events will be held in the Industrial Gallery.
