Help make Christmas Special for Ladywood families in 2026

This Christmas, Birmingham Colmore is once again supporting local families through our partnership with community organisations in Ladywood, helping to ensure children and families facing hardship can enjoy a brighter festive season.

We’re inviting businesses, organisations and individuals across the district to get involved with two simple but impactful initiatives that will help bring joy, warmth and support to local families most in need.

Christmas Gifts

Our popular Breakfast with Santa event is back, and we’re looking for sponsors to help make the experience extra special for children who may otherwise go without gifts this Christmas.

Sponsors are asked to provide a gift, or collection of gifts, up to the value of £40. We encourage donations that include something warm and practical, such as a hat, scarf, gloves or winter clothing item.

To help make each gift personal, we’ll provide sponsors with:

  • The child’s age
  • Identified gender
  • Their interests and hobbies

All gifts should be wrapped or clearly labelled and must be delivered to us by 20 November 2026.

A small gesture can make a huge difference to a child this Christmas, helping create lasting memories during the festive season.

Food Vouchers and Warm Pyjamas

Alongside Breakfast with Santa, we’re also seeking support for a second initiative focused on providing essential help for local families.

This year, we’re hoping to support 6 families, of 10 children through:

Food Voucher Sponsorship

Help ease financial pressures over the festive period by sponsoring supermarket food vouchers.

  • 6 families
  • £50 voucher per family
  • Total sponsorship opportunity: £300

Pyjama Donations

We’re aiming to ensure every child (10 children across six families) each receive a warm pair of pyjamas this Christmas.

Sponsors can:

  • Purchase pyjamas directly (sizes and gender information will be provided)
  • Make a financial contribution towards the overall cost

The estimated cost is £8-£15 per child, with sponsorship opportunities ranging from £80 to £150 to help cover all 10 children.

Get involved

Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help bring comfort, warmth and festive cheer to local families this Christmas.

If you or your organisation would like to support either initiative, please contact kelsey.dwyer@birminghamcolmore.co.uk to find out more and pledge your support.

Together, we can help ensure local children and families experience a Christmas filled with joy, dignity and hope. 🎄✨
