Birmingham Cathedral appoints Chief Operating Officer

Birmingham St Philip’s Cathedral is welcoming a very important new recruit in September. Michael Ball is joining the cathedral as their new Chief Operating Officer.

Michael said, “I am honoured to be appointed to this exciting new role. I hope to bring the skills I’ve developed through years of collaborative working in the cooperative sector to useful effect in this role.”

The Very Reverend Matt Thompson, Dean of Birmingham said, “I am delighted that Michael has been appointed as COO. Our cathedral community, volunteers and the staff team are looking forward very much to welcoming him and working with him.”
