Birmingham LGBT Launches New “Legends and Icons” Fundraising Drive

Birmingham LGBT has launched a new fundraising campaign to ensure it can continue to support thousands of LGBTQ+ people across the city every year.

The charity, which envisions a vibrant, diverse community where everyone can thrive, delivers vital services such as nearly 2,000 sexual health tests annually and offers a safe, welcoming centre visited by more than 4,000 people each year. But as costs rise, sustaining and expanding this work is becoming increasingly difficult.

To secure its future, Birmingham LGBT is calling on supporters to become Legends or Icons.

  • Legends pledge £10 per month, helping to maintain essential services and receiving benefits such as a Birmingham LGBT pin badge, exclusive newsletters, discounts in the LGBT coffee shop, and invitations to events.
  • Icons contribute £25 per month, gaining all the benefits of Legends plus exclusive social events and the chance to meet the charity’s leadership team.

Donations can be boosted by 25% at no extra cost through Gift Aid, ensuring every contribution goes further.
