Centrick launches ‘Gateway’ – paving the way for the future of property management

Leading property management group Centrick has launched Gateway, a new in-house training and development programme combining professional learning with practical, on-the-job experience. Gateway is designed for aspiring Property Managers looking to upskill and take the next step in their careers, as well as existing Property Managers who want to sharpen their knowledge and gain higher-level TPI accreditations.

Delivered through Centrick’s established Learning and Development Academy, Gateway reflects the business’s commitment to nurturing internal talent and setting high industry standards.

The role of a Property Manager is vital to the smooth operation, communication, and day-to-day running of residential buildings. Through Gateway, Centrick is making a significant investment in both the future of the property management sector and in its own people, nurturing internal talent and creating clear career development pathways.

Developing talent from within

Designed to recognise potential within Centrick’s existing team, the Gateway programme supports individuals to build on their current knowledge through a blend of hands-on experience, structured learning, with participants also working towards industry-recognised qualifications from The Property Institute (TPI).

With upcoming regulatory changes set to make TPI accreditation mandatory, Gateway positions Centrick ahead of the curve, ensuring its teams are ready to meet evolving professional standards.

Phil Johns, Managing Director at Centrick, commented on the launch:

“At Centrick, we believe that investing in people is the most effective way to raise standards across the property sector. Gateway is a major step forward in developing skilled, qualified Property Managers from within. It reflects our long-term commitment to professional excellence and to creating meaningful career pathways for our team.”

Joe Milton, Learning & Development Manager, added:

“Gateway is about unlocking potential. Many of our team members already have deep knowledge of how our buildings and communities operate. This programme builds on that foundation, offering a professional qualification and a clear route into long-term careers. When participants complete Gateway, they’ll be fully equipped to deliver exceptional service from day one.”

Powered by the Centrick Academy

The Gateway programme is delivered through the Centrick Academy – a dedicated training environment that combines a physical learning space with a flexible online platform. Since launching in 2020, the Academy has become a core part of the business, delivering over 5,000 hours of training in 2025 alone, including more than 120 instructor-led sessions.

With Gateway now live and further training initiatives planned for 2026, Centrick continues to invest in its people and raise professional standards across the industry.
