Celebrate Spring with Vagabond’s Artisan Cheese & Wine Experiences

Birmingham’s wine lovers are in for a treat this April and May as Vagabond, the popular wine bar and kitchen, unveils a new series of cheese and wine events designed to delight the senses and deepen appreciation for artisan pairings.

Running through spring 2025, Vagabond will host two distinct tasting experiences at its Birmingham venue: The Artisan Cheese & Wine Experience and the Introductory Cheese & Wine Masterclass. Each event promises a guided journey through expertly matched wines and cheeses, offering both newcomers and connoisseurs a chance to explore the finer points of pairing.

The Artisan Cheese & Wine Experience is a sophisticated evening featuring a curated flight of four premium wines — including a celebratory glass of Champagne — alongside a handpicked selection of artisanal cheeses known for their complexity and character. Guests will be welcomed with canapés and Champagne before a Vagabond wine expert leads a deep dive into the nuances of each pairing.

For those just beginning their journey into the world of cheese and wine, the Introductory Cheese & Wine Masterclass offers a fun and accessible entry point. Kicking off with a glass of bubbly, attendees will sample five wines paired with five complementary cheeses while learning the basics of flavour matching, from bold cheddars to soft, creamy selections. The 70-minute session is designed to be relaxed, informative, and ideal for groups.

Both experiences are available throughout April and May 2025, and spaces are expected to fill quickly.

Tickets and full event details are available here. Please note that these events are for all Vagabond locations, please check you have the correct location before booking.
