Inspiring Futures: Colmore BID Partners with NatWest and LTSB for a Transformative Workshop

Colmore BID has partnered with NatWest to host a dynamic and impactful workshop for the Law and Business programme run by LTSB (Leadership Through Sport & Business). The event brought together a talented group of young professionals eager to take the next steps in their career journeys, along with an outstanding lineup of volunteers and panelists from various industries.

The day was filled with insightful discussions, skill-building sessions, and meaningful connections. Highlights included a thought-provoking panel discussion, networking opportunities, and personalised mock interviews that helped participants refine their interview techniques and boost their confidence. One attendee shared:

“The event was amazing! I learned so many valuable insights and got really useful advice for my career and personal development… It really boosted my confidence and improved my interview skills. Stacy’s part about finding your purpose really stood out to me—it was so meaningful and something I know I need to work on. It was such a great experience.”

The workshop wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible efforts of the volunteers and panelists, including Vicky Osgood, Kirsty Cove, Tim Hall, Dipesh Mistry, Nazma Ghafoor, Raabiah Khalil, Pat Archer, and Stacey Batigan. A special thanks also goes to Kelsey Dwyer and the Colmore BID team for making the event such a resounding success.

With eight weeks of valuable sessions behind them, the young professionals are now preparing for their final presentations and networking event on December 4th. This marks an exciting next step as they work towards securing meaningful careers.
