The Colmore Food Festival is set to return to Victoria Square, Birmingham on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 July 2026, marking its 13th year as one of the city’s most popular free events. Brought to you by Birmingham Colmore under their Colmore Life brand, the festival celebrates the extraordinary depth and diversity of the Colmore Business District’s hospitality scene.
Open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on both days, the festival brings together acclaimed restaurants, independent eateries, and passionate local producers, offering visitors the chance to explore a wide range of flavours through affordable taster-sized portions. The event also features the eagerly anticipated Demonstration Kitchen on Chamberlain Square, where chefs, mixologists, and bakers take to the stage to showcase signature dishes, new techniques, and the talent that has helped make Birmingham’s food scene nationally recognised.
Following the record-breaking 2025 edition, which welcomed 75,000 visitors across two days, the 2026 Festival promises an expanded roster of traders, a packed entertainment programme, and a lively weekend atmosphere designed to welcome residents, workers, families, and visitors from across the region.
Attendance remains free, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a vibrant celebration of Birmingham’s culinary culture without breaking the bank.

Established in 2018 in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, Tiger Bites Pig is a Taiwanese inspired restaurant serving up bold, authentic flavours through freshly made BAO buns, ingredient-led rice bowls and dishes rooted in traditional cooking methods.
In Taiwan, some bao are described as “Tiger Bites Pig” due to the mouth-like shape and it’s classic pork filling. Their signature BAO, hand rolled and steamed in-house each day, draws inspiration from this tradition and celebrates the flavours of Taiwanese street food. Their rice bowls, meanwhile, lend themselves more to towards the Sichuan province.
While their service is quick and efficient, almost every element of our menu is prepared in-house using traditional methods where possible.
