If you finish work or university early on a Friday, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery has got you covered. Crafternoons is a weekly, free, drop-in social event. It is an opportunity to try out a new craft or art technique, or to practice the skills that you’ve already got in a calm social environment. You can expect drop in sessions that will have you sketching museum objects, crafting decorations, or learning a new printing technique. The sessions will often be themed around a gallery or event going on at the museum, so there will always be time to have a look around before and after.
