The European Doctors Orchestra returns to Birmingham for the first time in over 12 years with an inspiring afternoon of orchestral and choral music in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Conducted by Jack Lovell-Huckle, with soloist Judith Le Breuilly, the orchestra is joined by the Midlands Hospitals’ Choir and guest singers from the Worcester Festival Choral Society.
The programme features Handel’s rousing Zadok the Priest, Rachmaninoff’s vibrant Symphonic Dances, and Elgar’s moving choral work The Music Makers.
All funds raised will support a new Colorectal Treatment Space at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, helping children at the National Liver and Bowel Centre manage stomas and receive vital post-operative care.
