EVERY THING MUST GO by Joe Lycett

s collection, the exhibition brings together dozens of never-seen-before pieces. From deceased celebrities and extinct animals to discontinued chocolate bars and destroyed buildings, his subjects are presented in a signature tongue-in-cheek and childlike style.

Transforming the gallery into a bold salon-style display, Lycett’s latest paintings reflect on memory and cultural change through humour, a striking visual approach and a distinctly Brummie perspective.

Designed to overwhelm and delight, Lycett describes the experience as a “neon graveyard.”
