As part of the commemoration of the shared links between our Birmingham and Birmingham, Alabama, Birmingham People’s History Archive are running free events, open to all.

4.00-5.30 & 6.30-7.00pm (drop-in) Archive tours and exhibition about two Birminghams, in the West Midlands and Alabama. 

5.30-6.30pm Talk: on the cities’ shared heritage; video link to Vulcan Museum colleagues, Alabama. 

7.00-7.30pm Film: The Rise of the Mixy, about desi pubs as historical centres of diversity.
