Webber! is the audacious, critically acclaimed b*wdy comedy musical about the life of composer and impresario Andrew Lloyd Webber (Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Starlight Express) on his quest to become ‘filthy rich and f**king useless’. 

Guided by the spirit of Margaret Thatcher, will he ever become a Lord? Will he fly across the atlantic, last minute, to vote against raising tax credits for the poor? Find out, whilst laughing and crying in Webber!

Written and composed by Grant Sharkey, this show is the ultimate middle f*nger to norms of musicals and comedy. A fully composed score containing incalculable ear-worms, some bad language and a mild amount of blasphemy – all brought to life by Sharkey as Webber and Laura Clare Reid as Margaret Thatcher.

Making its debut in July 2025, Webber! has already delighted audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe (garnering several four star reviews) and two packed out performances at the Theatre Tent at Beauiful Days Festival, before heading out on a short, hastily arranged UK tour in Nov 2025 – this year the show will be expanding it’s reach with a stop at The Rik Mayall Comedy Festival, returning to Edinburgh and going back on tour in the autumn. Songs as catchy as Frozen, a as subversive as The Rocky Horror Picture Show and a subject as controversial as Jerry Spirnger: The Opera – The era of Webber! has only just begun.
