Corclaim Strengthens Team with Two Senior Appointments

Uninsured loss recovery (ULR) specialist firm Corclaim has strengthened its senior team with the appointments of Kiranvir Dosanjh as legal director and Laura Tomlin as senior associate.

With more than 25 years of combined legal experience across complex litigation, insurance-related claims and recovery matters, Kiranvir and Laura will add further depth to Corclaim’s specialist capability and support the firm’s continued growth.

Kiranvir joins Corclaim with more than 15 years’ experience in litigation, having held senior positions at DAC Beachcroft, Weightmans and Murria Solicitors. He has advised on a broad range of complex disputes, with experience in property damage, employers’ and public liability, construction, and commercial and civil litigation.

His practice has included boundary, landlord and tenant, breach of contract, partnership and company disputes, as well as high-value matters involving complex liability and quantum issues. Along with his legal practice, Kiranvir has managed accounts for large corporate companies, developed claims processes for clients and supported the training and development of fee earners.

At Corclaim, Kiranvir will handle high value multi-track matters while contributing to the development of the firm’s wider legal capability and supporting the continued development of its people.

Kiranvir said: “Corclaim has built a strong reputation for its specialist approach and its focus on delivering excellent results for clients. I was attracted by the opportunity to bring my experience to a business where I can contribute to both the quality of client work and its wider development.

“There is a strong platform here to build on, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to develop our capabilities, strengthen client relationships and support the next phase of Corclaim’s growth.”

Laura joins Corclaim with more than a decade of experience in the legal sector, including over six years’ post-qualification experience specialising in litigation, debt recovery and insolvency.

She has extensive experience in insurance-related claims and has acted for a diverse client base, including insurers, FCA regulated businesses, NHS trusts, large corporates and high net-worth individuals.

Her experience spans complex litigation and recovery matters, combining technical legal expertise with a pragmatic and commercially focused approach to achieving the right outcome for clients.

At Corclaim, Laura will focus on complex recovery and litigation matters, drawing on her experience in insurance-related claims, debt recovery and insolvency while supporting the firm’s continued development.

Laura said: “I’m delighted to be joining Corclaim at a time when the business is continuing to strengthen its specialist offering. The firm has built strong expertise across uninsured loss recovery and complex litigation, and I was attracted by the opportunity to join a team with such a strong track record in this area.

“I’m looking forward to working with colleagues across the business as it continues to develop its legal capability and support clients with increasingly complex matters.”

Ian Evans, partner and head of Corclaim, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Kiranvir and Laura to Corclaim. Their experience and technical expertise will add further strength to our team and enhance the service we provide to clients.

“Both bring a strong understanding of complex litigation and recovery matters, as well as a practical and commercially focused approach. Their appointments reflect our continued investment in our people and our ambition to build on the specialist capability we offer clients.”
