Fisher German strengthens Midlands development agency team with strategic hire

A leading property consultancy has strengthened its Midlands development agency team with the appointment of an experienced associate as it continues to grow its residential development offering.

Fisher German has appointed Oscar Heap as an Associate, bringing experience in residential development, strategic land and investment opportunities across the region.

Based in the Midlands, Oscar joins from JLL’s Living Capital Markets team , where he advised landowners, developers and investors on residential development opportunities and land transactions across the UK.

His appointment comes as Fisher German continues to expand its development agency service, with residential investment, single-family housing, affordable housing and strategic land consultancy identified as key growth areas for the business.

Oscar said: “Fisher German has built a strong reputation in the development sector and I’m excited to be joining at a time when the business is investing heavily in this area.

“There is a clear ambition to keep growing the development agency offering nationally, and the opportunity to work across a diverse range of residential sectors and projects was a major attraction for me.

“I’m looking forward to working with colleagues across the business to help clients identify opportunities and navigate an increasingly complex development market.”

Luke Brafield, Partner at Fisher German, said: “Oscar’s appointment reflects our continued investment in the growth of our national development agency team.

“We are seeing significant opportunities across residential investment, single-family housing and affordable housing, alongside growing demand for strategic land advice and support with residential development transactions.

“Oscar’s experience and market knowledge will further strengthen our ability to support clients across these sectors and help drive continued growth.

“His appointment is particularly important for our Midlands team, where we continue to see strong demand from landowners, developers and investors seeking expert advice on development opportunities.”

Oscar joins Fisher German alongside Megan Jackson, who has joined the firm’s Manchester office as a Surveyor, as part of the business’s wider investment in its national development agency offering.
