Gowling WLG (UK) LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Felger as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Sarah will lead on all aspects of operational strategy across the firm’s offices in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. She will also spearhead the firm’s continued evolution in technology and AI adoption – ensuring innovation is embedded in a way that enhances client service, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Sarah brings a wealth of experience from senior strategic and operational roles at CMS, Taylor Wessing, Irwin Mitchell, and most recently Womble Bond Dickinson.

Outside of work, Sarah is a proud trustee of the Aldridge Foundation, which helps young people, especially those from less advantaged backgrounds, develop the skills, confidence, and enterprising mindset they need to thrive in education, work, and life.
The creation of a standalone COO position reflects the firm’s continued growth and strategic development, with Andrew Edginton having previously held a combined COO / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role. Andrew will continue to lead the firm’s finance and procurement teams and financial strategy as CFO across the UK, Europe and Middle East.
