AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run finishers medal 2025

May the fourth be with you, Birmingham! Half marathon and 10K finishers’ medals have landed

Great Birmingham Run 2025 medals unveiled: The ultimate running accessory for Spring/Summer 2025

Calling all Great Birmingham Runners… May the fourth be with you! The AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run finishers’ medal has landed in the city.

You can now get your first look at the stylish medal you’ll be proudly wearing around your neck on Sunday 4 May as you cross the finish line at the Great Birmingham Run 2025.

Featuring a sleek, modern design that captures the energy and spirit of Birmingham’s biggest organised run, it’s the perfect reward for the hard work and dedication of every participant taking on the 10K and half marathon distances.

This year’s AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run medal is a force to be reckoned with: The zig-zags on the left of the medal draw inspiration from the Birmingham flag: a nod to the city that powers this race. The circular patterns? That’s straight from Brum’s iconic architecture: think bold, think beautiful.

Sun-ray lines burst from the centre: 10 rays for the 10K, 13 for the Half Marathon – each one representing every step you’ll conquer. Flip the medal over and runners will find a list of landmarks, streets, and sights that make this route unforgettable.

The Great Birmingham Run is the Midlands’ biggest running event, bringing 16,000 participants together to take on the challenge, soak up the city’s vibrant atmosphere, and experience the thrill of running through Birmingham’s streets to high-fives from cheering family and friends.

Whether you’re a first-time runner or a seasoned pro, this year’s medal is your ultimate motivation to keep pushing towards that finish line.

Last year’s AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run sold out in advance and the same is expected for 2025 so entering early is advised. To secure your place at the start line, visit: https://www.greatrun.org/events/great-birmingham-run/
