A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Colmore BID Annual Community Games at Aston University on Friday 12 September. This year, the Community Games brought together 15 companies from across the business district to compete in a range of old school sports day activities.
The companies competing for the crown include Hays Recruitment, Canaccord Wealth, Hortons, MFG Solicitors LTD, The Grand Hotel, Hotel du Vin, CrossCountry Trains, FleetMilne, Pasture Restaurant, Stantec UK, Staybridge Suites, Hoare Lea, MAPP Building Consultancy, Sanderson Weatherall and FBC Manby Bowdler.
The afternoon was full of energy, camaraderie and light-hearted competition. From the caterpillar race to the space hopper dash and the large egg-and-spoon challenge, every team gave it their all and created a lively atmosphere.
A special congratulations to Hays Recruitment for achieving first place! They were followed on the podium by MAPP Building Consultancy in second, and Hotel du Vin in third. Well done to every team who took part. It was a fantastic way to end the week and it was great to see the effort, teamwork, and enthusiasm everyone brought to each event.
