Hortons seals triple letting at historic Colmore Row office building

Hortons has secured three new lettings in Birmingham’s Colmore Row, underscoring the strong demand from small and mid-sized occupiers for high quality workspace in the city centre.

Teqnion UK, part of a Swedish-based industrial trading group, has taken two first floor office suites at Imperial & Whitehall, the Grade II* listed building located in the heart of the city’s business district.

Two further second floor suites have been let to growing businesses. Eterna Longevity & Aesthetics, a wellness clinic led by Dr Ipek, has opened in Suite 2.07, while locally founded Colmore Tailors has launched its new atelier in Suite 2.06, offering soft tailoring and bespoke menswear.

Part of The Grand, which was originally built in the 1870s by Isaac Horton and is still owned and managed by Hortons, Imperial & Whitehall comprises sixteen premium office suites. Following the latest deals, only two suites remain available to let.

Additional first floor office space of 2,173 sq ft is available at The Barwick, another office building within The Grand block.

Nina Meeks of Hortons said: “We’re continuing to see strong appetite from smaller businesses that want flexible space in a prime central location. Imperial & Whitehall offers a blend of historic character and modern office suites, which has proved attractive to ambitious occupiers. These latest lettings reflect the resilience of the Birmingham office market and sustained demand for quality space on Colmore Row.”
