Innes England grows valuation team in Birmingham

Innes England has welcomed Matt Kitson to its Birmingham valuation team

Matt has more than 25 years’ experience valuing commercial property assets and portfolios, advising on development consultancy and compulsory purchase orders, and providing financial viability appraisals for both developer and public sector clients.

He joins Innes England as an associate director, from Bromsgrove-based surveying firm, Thomas Lister.

He said: “I have watched the trajectory of Innes England’s Birmingham team with interest since the office opened in 2022. The valuation team is hugely respected and I am thrilled to be joining them.”

Adam Rock, who heads Innes England’s Birmingham office, said: “Matt and I previously worked together and it’s great to be reacquainted on a professional level.

“In 2025 our valuations team secured more panel appointments with lenders, boosting our loan security advice. In addition, we continue to grow our asset valuations advice, particularly for large portfolio clients. Matt is a welcome addition to the team at what has been a busy time for the firm.”
