Law firm expands Corporate team through new partner appointment

Regional law firm mfg Solicitors has bolstered its in-demand Corporate law team with the appointment of a new partner.

Corporate and commercial transaction specialist Philip Chapman has joined the firm from Knights plc, reporting to partner and head of department, Clare Lang.

Based across the firm’s offices in Birmingham’s Colmore Business District, and its Black Country base in Brierley Hill, Philip is now advising clients on matters including management buy-outs, mergers and acquisitions, business disposals and reorganisations for corporate and owner-managed businesses.

Clare Lang, partner and head of the Corporate department at mfg Solicitors said: “Philip joins us at the perfect time as we bolster our team and increase our footprint across the region.

“He is a hugely respected corporate and commercial specialist and adds significant experience to an already strong team. He is already making an impact with our clients and within the firm.”

Philip Chapman added: “You can’t fail to be attracted to mfg Solicitors. The firm has gradually built a formidable reputation and a strong regional presence in both Birmingham and the Black Country over several years.

“To have the opportunity to join the firm and Clare’s team was something I jumped at. I look forward to playing my role in the months and years ahead in what is such an exciting time in the firm’s growth.”
