M3.agency secures B Corp certification following 20 new jobs boost

One of Birmingham’s fastest growing full-service agencies has hit a major milestone – just a few weeks after holding the city’s newest ‘Business Leadership Summit’.

M3.agency, which created 20 jobs in the last twelve months, has secured B Corp certification for the first time, reinforcing its commitment to being a ‘force for good’ within the places it operates.

Driven by a ten-strong internal team, the rigorous journey took eighteen months to complete and explored the company’s social/environmental performance, accountability, transparency and the development of its people.

It will form an important part of the firm’s expansion plans, as it looks to maximise new opportunities across its Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Telford and Manchester operations.

“Importantly, the road to B Corp certification has been a people-led journey,” explained Jonathan Jesson, Growth Director at M3.agency.

“The process was driven by our team – shaped by their ideas, their input, and their commitment to building a better business. It’s something that belongs to everyone at M3, not just a leadership goal or a strategic milestone.”

He continued: “We’ve experienced significant growth in recent years, increasing revenues by 30% to £6m annually.

“But our story is about more than just the financials. Everything we do – working with clients, engaging suppliers, growing new talent and supporting good causes – is about being a ‘force for good’ and B Corp gives us a framework to follow to ensure we are continually improving.”

M3.agency, which handles integrated marketing accounts and manages over £50m of media billings annually, recently hosted Birmingham’s biggest Business Leadership Summit in association with UK Athletics.

More than 100 people gathered at the iconic Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery in a celebration of the city’s rich and diverse entrepreneurial talent and to kickstart a movement that aims to shout louder about Birmingham’s achievements.

Feedback from the evening suggested that this should become an annual event, with the Chamberlain Square-based business calling on local people to build on the initial momentum.

Nick Lovett, CEO of M3.agency, added his support: “There’s a real opportunity to build something consistent for Birmingham – a space where business leaders can come together, share ideas and help shape what comes next for the city.

“The rallying call is simple: get involved in building momentum. That doesn’t just mean attending. It means contributing, sharing experiences, supporting initiatives, and continuing to invest in Birmingham as a place to do business. The more people who actively take part, the more valuable this becomes for everyone.”

He concluded: “B Corp amplifies our culture, which prioritises collaboration, development and accountability, and that’s reflected in how we deliver work and build long-term relationships. The Business Leadership Summit is a natural extension of that.”
