MK2 Real Estate has appointed Gareth Marchment as a director within its property management team.

Gareth joins the Birmingham-based commercial property consultancy from KWB, where he was head of the firm’s property and asset management team. Prior to that, Gareth spent 15 years at Orbit Property Management Ltd.

During his career Gareth has advised a range of clients, including Somerset Council, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, LXi and several foreign property funds.

At MK2, he will work alongside head of property management and fellow director Marcello Della Croce, managing the team’s £1.5 billion portfolio of assets under management, as well as focussing on new business.

Gareth said: “MK2 has a market leading reputation in the property management sector. I’m pleased to be joining at an exciting time for the team, as it continues to grow and expand its presence across the UK.”

Marcello Della Croce said: “MK2’s property management team has grown from two to 25 people in eight years, with a £1.5 billion portfolio of assets under management and 2,000 plus tenants across the UK.

“Gareth’s 20 years’ experience advising clients on all aspects of property management and the skills and knowledge he’s obtained over that time will be invaluable as we look to push on to our next phase of growth.”
