ORELLE ANNOUNCE BLACKOUT DINNER

The event will take place on Sunday 27 October with entertainment from Mr and Mrs Grey.

Orelle Restaurant, located on the top floor of 103 Colmore Row in Colmore Business District, has announced it will hold a “Blackout Dinner” on Sunday 27 October. The event, with an exclusive four-course menu created by Head Chef, Kiran Suvarna, and entertainment from Mr & Mrs Grey, is set to provide diners with a sensory journey through taste, touch and sound.

Guests will be plunged into complete darkness, with thousands of candles and the surrounding Birmingham landscape as the only source of light.

The four-course menu, which will be served between 5.30pm –  9pm is priced at £80per person. Diners can also opt for a VIP window table at £100 per person and receive a glass of fizz upon arrival.

The menu showcases dishes such as:

Hors D’oevre

Warm 24 months Comte Gougères

Beetroot Tartlets

Chapter II

Halibut
Mussel, cockles, sea vegetables, Ratte potatoes, fennel pollen

Chapter III

Bouef Fillet
36 days dry aged Cumbrian beef, pommes aligot, glazed carrots, broccolini, sauce bordelaise

Champagne framboise

Dessert

Chocolate Fondant, espresso ice cream
