Our Safer Colmore workshops are designed to empower people practical skills, stronger awareness and greater self‑belief, helping everyone play a role in keeping our city centre safe.
We are proud to work with an internationally renowned female martial arts expert, instructor and author to deliver pragmatic, empowering Personal Safety Awareness training. These 90‑minute workshops focus on simple, effective skills that help build confidence, awareness and assertiveness in everyday life. The sessions also encourage healthier habits and a sense of personal capability.
Delivered in partnership with West Midlands Fire Service, our Trauma Equipment Awareness sessions are designed to give people the confidence to act quickly and effectively in a medical emergency.
These 90‑minute, hands‑on workshops equip participants with essential lifesaving skills, teach you how to operate a bleed kit or defibrillator and carry out basic CPR that could make a critical difference at work, on the commute or in public spaces.
These workshops are practical, supportive and accessible to all, whether you’re a team leader, frontline staff member, or simply want to be prepared to help others.
We signpost businesses and individuals to key safety infrastructure across the District, including access to bleed control kits and defibrillators. You can explore the bleed kit and defibrillator map here.
