Trowers & Hamlins celebrates triple triumph of awards

International law firm, Trowers & Hamlins, had a triple triumph of awards at three prestigious awards ceremonies on 30 September 2025.

Partner and Head of Birmingham, Yetunde Dania, was awarded Moment of the Year at the City Century Awards, for her inspiring keynote delivered to 200 aspiring solicitor apprentices at the City Century Live! Birmingham event. She was also awarded Highly Commended for Senior Law Champion of the Year.

The Projects and Construction team saw success at the Building Innovation Awards, held at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham where they were named ‘Professional Services Team of the Year’. Birmingham-based Partners Rachael Hobbis and Paul Scott were joined by Assad Maqbool, Katie Saunders and Paul Bartter to receive the award. The team were recognised for their collaboration with the NEC and The Association of Consultant Architects on the integration of the FAC-1 with the NEC4 guidance, with a special mention to Assad Maqbool’s role of co-authoring the NEC4 guidance.

To conclude a night of success and celebration, Helen Briant and Meera Solanki received the Highly Commended award for Commercial Litigation Team of the Year award at the Legal Business Awards 2025.

Yetunde Dania, Head of Birmingham and Partner, commented:

“Excellence is at the heart of our Trowers Birmingham office and this recognition reflects exactly that. What a testament to the enthusiasm, hard work, and talent of everyone here and I congratulate the teams and individuals who were recognised. A trio of achievements in one night is the kind of thing that makes us unique, and as an office, and a firm, we value celebrating success.”
