Ward Hadaway strengthens Birmingham team with partner appointment

Top 100 law firm Ward Hadaway has welcomed partner Chris Green to its Birmingham office as part of a significant recruitment drive in the city.

Chris, who specialises in regulatory compliance and investigations, brings more than three decades of experience advising businesses on health, safety and environmental matters. He has led national teams of regulatory specialists and built a strong reputation for supporting clients through complex investigations and enforcement action.

He is one of nine new appointments in Birmingham spanning commercial, employment and housing. Alongside Chris, the office has welcomed partners Sabina Kauser (immigration), Natalie Owen (securitisation and portfolio disposal and acquisition – affordable housing) and Joanna Lee-Mills (real estate and development – affordable housing), as well as director Jenny Walker (housing), managing associate Clarissa Pritchard (housing), solicitors Christy Davies and Saira Jamshaid (housing) and paralegal Arooj Tussadiq (immigration).

Steven Petrie, managing partner at Ward Hadaway, said: “Our continued growth is a direct result of the trust our clients place in us and the hard work of our people. We’ve welcomed talented lawyers and paralegals who share our commitment to providing practical, commercial advice and we’re continuing to invest in the future of the firm across all our regions and their communities.”

The Birmingham appointments form part of a wider intake of 39 legal specialists across Ward Hadaway’s offices in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle. This latest round of recruitment follows the opening of the Birmingham office earlier this year and the firm’s merger with Teesside-based The Endeavour Partnership, further expanding its reach and capability across the North and Midlands.

Chris Green, partner in the commercial team based in Birmingham, said: “Joining Ward Hadaway at such an exciting point in its journey is a fantastic opportunity. The firm is serious about growth and is backing that up with real investment in people and places. What really appealed to me was the breadth of the firm’s service offering and the depth of experience in advising business and commercial clients. From day one I’ve seen how supportive the culture is and I’m looking forward to playing a role in building the firm’s presence in Birmingham and contributing to its success across the West Midlands.”
