1000 Free Burritos Up For Grabs To Celebrate Zambrero Colmore Row’s Grand Opening

To celebrate its recent opening, Mexican-inspired restaurant, Zambrero will be giving away a massive 1000 free burritos on Wednesday 15th November in an event open to everyone in the local area. Located at 31 Colmore Row, the team will be rolling free burritos from 11am -5pm. Customers are advised to arrive early to beat the queues.

Zambrero offers a freshly prepared, customisable menu of burritos, bowls, nachos, tacos, quesadillas and more, including vegan and vegetarian options, that make a perfect lunch or dinner for hungry Brummies looking for a hit of Mexican flavour on the go.

As well as providing delicious, fresh food, Zambrero also donates a meal to someone in need for every burrito or bowl purchased. Through its Plate4Plate initiative and in its mission to stop world hunger, Zambrero’s global network has already donated over 72 million meals to date via its humanitarian partner Rise Against Hunger.

Customers coming down to grab free burritos can also expect music from live DJs and a chance to take part in Zambrero’s Plate 4 Plate meal packing weigh-in competition, for a chance to win another free lunch!

UK Chief Executive Officer, Emily Teh, said, “Our 1000 free burrito giveaway is a chance for us to invite our community to try out our menu, and we’re looking forward to seeing lots of hungry locals on the day. Each burrito we roll will take us a step closer to reaching our goal of donating a billion meals to people in hunger around the world. Now our community in Birmingham can help us get there and do something amazing with their lunch break.”
