Fisher German Hortons Birmingham

A leading property consultancy has met with its new landlord as it prepares to open a major new office in Birmingham city centre following a refurbishment.

Fisher German, who will move into a new 7,300 sq ft office at Fifteen Colmore Row in November, met with landlord Hortons’ Estate Ltd who has been a client of Fisher German’s in many projects in and around the city.

Nina Meeks of Hortons, met with Stuart Flint, Fisher German Divisional Managing Partner, Mike Price, Head of Commercial Agency, and Charles Warrack, Partner, at the new offices, where the interior is currently being refurbished to a high specification.

Charles Warrack said: “We have acted for Hortons on many transactions in Birmingham – including at Colmore Row – so it’s especially fitting that they have become our landlord with our move to the city centre.

“It was a pleasure to meet Nina at Fifteen Colmore Row as the interior of the office begins to come together, and we are looking forward to continuing our relationship with Hortons both as a tenant and as an agent for their other properties.

“We’re really excited about opening the office in November, and we think it will be the ideal place to grow our influence in the Birmingham market.”

Nina added: “We are very pleased to welcome Fisher German to Fifteen Colmore Row. Our two businesses have developed a strong, lasting relationship and we know they will be a great fit for the building.

“We are particularly excited to be delivering the CAT A refurbishment of Fisher German’s new office space. We will be carrying out these works alongside the latest phase of refurbishment at Fifteen Colmore Row, which will create new occupier amenities and an enlarged concierge reception, greatly enhancing the arrival experience.”

Fisher German, which currently has 27 offices across the UK, is looking to employ more people over the next two years as it looks to grow its engagement with the business and property community in the city.

Key services such as commercial agency, commercial property management, investment, valuation, business rates, town planning, sustainable energy, telecoms and building consultancy services will all operate out of the new office, with Fisher German looking to quickly integrate with the many businesses in the area when the office opens.

Fisher German’s current office in Harborne will close as part of the move, with all staff set to move to Colmore Row.
