Read With Chapter One

Online reading volunteers for children in Birmingham

Chapter One, the online reading charity, which supports nearly 3,000 disadvantaged children across the UK, is planning to launch in Birmingham primary schools in September this year.

Their corporate partners sponsor teams of employee volunteers who read online weekly with children in regions of deprivation across the UK, and include Amazon, Atkins Realis, Clyde & Co, Deloitte, Fieldfisher, Google, Hogan Lovells, KPMG, Morgan Stanley, Ocado, Jacobs, Serco and Sir Robert McAlpine.

Chapter One is looking for companies with local connections to support the launch of the programme in Birmingham with funding and volunteers. If you’d like to know more, please watch this video and contact sarah.taylor@chapterone.org.
