Businesses in Birmingham Colmore are being invited to play a pivotal role in supporting a major community-led environmental event this summer.
Birmingham Settlement, one of the city’s longest-standing charities, is calling on organisations to sponsor the Neighbourhood Futures Festival 2026, taking place from 26–28 June beside Edgbaston Reservoir. The festival, now in its fourth year, is set to bring together communities, businesses and environmental leaders for a vibrant programme focused on nature, wellbeing and local climate action.
Positioned within a unique three-acre urban green space, the festival offers an opportunity for businesses to align themselves with meaningful, place-based sustainability efforts while supporting inclusive, community-driven initiatives. Sponsorship contributions will directly fund free activities designed to connect people with nature, encourage environmental awareness and foster stronger neighbourhood ties.
The festival’s organisers highlight its distinctive approach – combining climate science with lived community experience to make global environmental challenges tangible at a local level. Through workshops, performances, educational sessions and hands-on activities, the event aims to inspire practical, everyday action while promoting wellbeing and social cohesion.
For businesses, particularly those with corporate social responsibility or environmental goals, sponsorship offers both visibility and impact. Opportunities range from core festival partnership roles to sponsoring individual zones such as learning spaces, performance areas and wellbeing hubs. Packages are flexible, allowing organisations to tailor their involvement to suit their objectives and budget.
In return, sponsors gain recognition across festival marketing, on-site branding and digital platforms, while also strengthening connections with local communities and like-minded organisations. Higher-tier sponsors can also access unique experiences, including wellbeing workshops for their teams within the festival’s distinctive outdoor setting.
Previous editions of the festival have demonstrated significant reach and engagement, attracting thousands of attendees, dozens of partner organisations and delivering measurable benefits in community wellbeing, environmental awareness and volunteer participation.
With growing urgency around climate action and community resilience, the 2026 festival aims to expand its impact further – amplifying grassroots initiatives and showcasing how collective local efforts can contribute to a greener, stronger Birmingham.
Businesses interested in supporting the festival are encouraged to get involved and explore sponsorship opportunities. A full supporters pack is available to download for further details here.
