LoveBrum Launches “Bake for Brum” Week-Long Fundraising Initiative

LoveBrum has announced the return of its community fundraising campaign, inviting Birmingham residents to take part in a city-wide baking initiative designed to support local good causes.

The event, titled Bake for Brum 2026, will run from Monday 29 June to Friday 3 July 2026, encouraging individuals, businesses, and community groups to bake and sell homemade goods in aid of Birmingham’s Hidden Gem Projects. The initiative aims to raise vital funds for small, lesser-known charities and community projects across the city.

Organisers are calling on “Brummies” of all ages and skill levels to get involved, whether baking independently, as part of a workplace activity, or through community-led groups. Participants are free to choose any of the five days within the campaign week to host their bake sales, with the aim of creating a city-wide wave of participation, generosity, and local pride.

LoveBrum has emphasised that the campaign is designed not only as a fundraising effort but also as a way to bring communities together through a shared activity that celebrates creativity and kindness.

Those interested in taking part or learning more about the initiative are encouraged to visit the LoveBrum website here or contact the organisation directly at hello@lovebrum.org.uk for further details.
