Centrick selected to manage 563-home community in Cofton Hackett

Centrick is pleased to announce its appointment as managing agent for 563 homes in Cofton Hackett. Following a competitive tender process, selected by Miller Homes to take over management of the estate from November 2025.

Situated in the highly sought-after village of Cofton Hackett in the Bromsgrove district of Worcestershire, the development sits close to an abundance of countryside, including the 524 acres of Lickey Hills Country Park, and is less than 10 miles from Birmingham city centre. The homes already form a thriving community, with green spaces and play areas contributing to a welcoming neighbourhood environment.

Centrick will also work closely with the housing associations operating across the site to ensure a coordinated and consistent management approach for all residents.

Since taking on the role, the team has focused on building strong relationships with the residents’ committee through regular engagement, including an estate-wide welcome meeting, drop-in sessions and the first of what will be regular committee meetings. Working collaboratively with residents, Centrick has developed a revised grounds maintenance specification and addressed overdue service charge billing, which had been impacting estate cash flow. Several opportunities for enhancements and improvements across the development have also been identified.

Michael Pattison, Lead of the Resident Steering Group for East Works, commented on the appointment of Centrick:

“When we began searching for a managing agent that would put residents at the heart of their operation, we looked to Centrick. After years of addressing poor service on our estate, we wanted a company that would genuinely engage with residents and help build our community. From the outset, Centrick emphasised clear communication, responsiveness and a visible presence on the estate.

It is still early days, but we are optimistic about working together to ensure the estate is properly and fairly maintained, and that residents’ concerns are addressed.”

Sam Deffley, Associate Director for Business Development at Centrick, added:

“We are excited to be working alongside a reputable national developer like Miller Homes. With experience managing developments delivered by both national and regional housebuilders, we aim to provide efficient, tailored management services that support our developer client while creating a well-managed community where residents feel listened to, supported and proud to call home.”

With a strong focus on collaboration, transparency and proactive estate management, Centrick looks forward to supporting the continued growth and long-term success of the Cofton Hackett community.
