Colmore Business District Shines in 2025 Greater Birmingham Young Professional Awards Shortlist

Colmore Business District is celebrating a wave of recognition as several of its rising stars have been shortlisted for the prestigious Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year (GBYPY) Awards 2025, hosted by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.

Leading the charge is Kelsey Dwyer from Colmore BID, who has been shortlisted in the Events and Hospitality category. As Events and Partnerships Manager at Colmore BID for over three years, Kelsey has played a pivotal role in shaping the District’s cultural and business landscape.

Most notably, she has been instrumental in the success of the Colmore Food Festival, one of Birmingham’s most anticipated annual events, drawing thousands of visitors and showcasing the area’s vibrant hospitality scene. Her nomination reflects her dedication to creating engaging, high-impact experiences that bring the community together and elevate the District’s profile.

Other Colmore BID business members also feature prominently across multiple categories:

The awards, now a cornerstone of the Chamber’s Future Faces division, will culminate in a gala dinner at the ICC Birmingham on 17 October 2025. With 77 young professionals shortlisted across 13 categories, the event promises to spotlight the region’s brightest emerging talent.

The strong representation from Colmore Business District underscores its role as a hub for professional excellence and innovation in Birmingham’s business landscape.
