Join us for an evening celebrating Black History Month, creativity, culture and community.

Throughout October, Snow Hill Square has been transformed into an open-air gallery, showcasing a collection of artwork exploring Black culture and celebrating the creativity and perspectives of artists from Birmingham City University’s School of Arts.

Guests are encouraged to visit the exhibition independently before or after the event and experience the artwork at their own pace.

Then join us at JAMAYA on Tuesday 20 October for a special evening bringing together artists, organisers, partners and the wider community.

An evening to celebrate and connect.

The event will be a relaxed opportunity to:

• Celebrate the Black History Month exhibition and the artists behind it
• Meet and network with the artists and organisers involved in the project
• Come together to celebrate Black History Month and Black culture
• Make new connections with people from Birmingham’s creative, cultural and business communities
• Hear more about the exhibition and the inspiration behind the work
• Enjoy a welcome drink and a selection of nibbles at Jamaya

Whether you have already visited the exhibition or are planning to visit, we’d love you to join us for the evening.
