The Queens Head Jazz Festival Special

Experience the vibrant energy and virtuoso sounds of Django Chutney live at The Queens Head.

Join us on Tuesday 29 July from 12:30 – 1:30pm at The Queens Head for a free lunchtime performance as part of the Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival.

We’re delighted to present Django Chutney, a gypsy-jazz manouche trio known for their three-part vocal harmonies, dazzling guitar virtuosity, infectious energy, and huge sense of fun. Drawing inspiration from Django Reinhardt’s repertoire alongside modern tunes, 1920s blues, and even the occasional Black Sabbath classic, Django Chutney delivers a forceful jazz-guitar sound that amazes and delights audiences in equal measure.

Complimentary nibbles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and drinks can be purchased from the bar throughout the event.

Whether you’re a dedicated jazz fan or simply looking for an enjoyable lunchtime experience, come along and enjoy an entertaining hour of live music in the welcoming surroundings of The Queens Head.
