DWF Strengthens Partnership With Cadent Through Commercial Legal Panel Appointment

DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has been appointed to Cadent’s commercial legal panel, marking a significant milestone in its longstanding relationship with the UK’s largest gas distribution company.

Having worked with Cadent for the past five years as an insurance client, this appointment extends DWF’s support to encompass a wide range of commercial service lines including land, property and planning, environmental and regulatory, competition, general corporate, litigation, construction, employment, pensions and immigration.

DWF is one of two law firms that have been newly appointed to the recently refreshed legal panel, with another five previously appointed firms retaining their positions.

Insurance partner at DWF, Paul Donnelly, said: “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to further expand on our strong five-year relationship with Cadent. Our values at DWF align seamlessly with Cadent’s and we stand committed to providing comprehensive legal support across various domains of its business.”

Diane Bennett, general counsel and company secretary at Cadent, added: “We are delighted to have appointed a new legal panel for Cadent. We will look to those firms to work with our in-house legal team to support our business as we head towards and into the next regulatory price control period and progress our net zero ambitions.”
