From 2nd August 2022, Jojolounge Bar & Restaurant will be welcoming back former resident Jojolapa to their kitchen and rear restaurant area, serving authentic Nepalese dishes with a contemporary twist. Exciting new lunch and dinner menus will be available, as well as a brand new cocktail menu with special Cocktail Of The Week featured each week.
Chef Bishal says “It’s great to be back at our previous venue on Newhall Street and offer a new twist on our original menus. We are very proud to be Birmingham’s only authentic Nepalese Restaurant. Nepalese food is a mouth-watering fusion between Chinese cuisine from the North and Indian cuisine from the South. It brings together fresh herbs, vegetables and meats that have deep smoky flavours cooked with love and perfection in traditional ovens, and due to the presence of Buddhist and Hindu traditions, it appeals to vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The word ‘Jojolapa’ means ‘Welcome’ in Nepalese, and we look forward to welcoming you all to Jojolounge.”
