Liquid strengthens Birmingham team with new account director appointment

Communications consultancy Liquid has made a new appointment to its Birmingham office as Dan Hill joins as Account Director to bolster the existing leadership team.

Bringing over 15 years of experience in the communications field, Dan will be leading the agency’s work across some of its Birmingham-based public sector accounts. Originally trained as a journalist, Dan has worked across some of the highest-profile property and construction projects in the Midlands, such as Arena Central, Arden Cross (the site of the HS2 interchange) and Paradise Birmingham.

His experience in creating and delivering cross-platform client strategies, working alongside colleagues in creative, digital and marketing and extensive passion and knowledge of the West Midlands; will see him strengthening the agency’s position as a leader in the public sector.

Commenting on his appointment, Dan said: “Moving jobs in the midst of a global pandemic was never going to be the easiest thing to accomplish, but the team at Liquid have gone out of their way to make this as easy a transition as possible.

“Liquid has a diverse range of clients and I’m looking forward to playing a part in their continued growth and development and meeting my new colleagues in person at some point!”

Liquid CEO, Lis Lewis-Jones said: “Liquid has seen incredible growth this year and despite lockdown we realise the importance of appointing an experienced person at this time, who can work remotely and lead on a number of key clients for us.

“We are looking to continue to build on the successes of 2019 and the beginning of 2020 and are using this time to ensure we have the right team in place.”
