Paul Street Becomes A Hollie Gazzard Trust Ambassador

We are pleased to welcome Paul Street to the Hollie Gazzard Trust as an official Ambassador.

This step to appointing Paul to the charity Ambassadors is a testament to a shared vision of hope and change that has the power to touch lives and build communities. Paul has already worked closely with Nick Gazzard and Richard Gray in his role as Project Manager – Safe & Sound Colmore BID, helping the charity build a strong partnership in the Colmore Business District in Birmingham.

Paul said: ‘‘I’m thrilled and immensely proud to be asked to be a Hollie Gazzard Trust Ambassador. The work of the Trust, including the Hollie Guard personal safety app, is integral to our personal safety strategies within the Colmore Business District. Our solid partnership with the Trust ensures that we have the most appropriate early intervention and prevention measures to safeguard people in both our public spaces and workplaces.’’

Colmore BID became the first BID in the UK to provide users of the Hollie Guard personal safety app with a safer and more secure hospitality experience whilst out and about within the Colmore Business District. The initiative is part of Colmore BID’s strategy to tackle violence, abuse and intimidation of women and girls.

Users of the Hollie Guard app within the Colmore Business District will see ‘pins on maps’ which will signpost app users to their nearest safe place if they feel unsafe or just want to enjoy their hospitality visit within one of the BID’s safe and welcoming accredited venues.

Nick Gazzard said: ‘We are delighted to have Paul on-board as an official Ambassador. Paul has already had a huge impact on the charity with the partnership he has developed with us in the Colmore Business District. We share a vision to make our communities safer and we look forward to continuing to enhance their current safety initiatives through Hollie Guard.’’

Everyone associated with the Hollie Gazzard Trust would like to thank Paul for his contributions to the charity already and warmly welcome him to our team of official Ambassadors.
